Reflections on Facing the TerrainA Study on the Association between Mountain Dwellings and Mountain Architecture Design System
Researchers in the early architectural history of Chongqing University,starting from the study of dwellings in mountainous environments,proposed the theories of six,twelve and eighteen"ways of the mountains terrain",which guided substantial mountainous designs in various time periods to eventually establish a mountainous disciplinary system of regional distinction.This is used as the academic tradition to counter homogeneity in contemporary mountainous design.
