Design and Experiment of Aging-Friendly Renovation of Existing Residences in Shanghai Driven by Resident NeedsA Case Study of the Prefab Interior Decoration
Based on the survey of the living status and the needs of aging-friendly renovation,this paper uses an existing residence in Shanghai as an example for aging-friendly renovation design and experiment.Centering on the concept of prefabricated construction and driven by the needs of residents,the design explores spatial openness and flow,wall-ceiling-floor and pipeline system,independent sub-system of equipment,aging-friendly and intellectual components,and future modifiability in a long run,etc.It verifies the feasibility of aging-friendly renovation for improving the quality of life of the elderly with home-based elderly care,and proposes the potential and prospect of developing prefabricated decoration for aging-friendly renovation.
