Architectural Criticism in the Past 70 Years and Cyclical Ecological Reconstruction of the Chinese Architectural Community
This paper reviews the architectural criticism texts in Architectural Journal from its first publication to the present from the perspective of"community ecology,"re-examining and re-defining the role and value of architectural criticism as an"interactive mechanism of community ecology."By using architectural criticism as an ecological cognitive indicator,it attempts to trace back the three metabolic cycles that China's architectural ecology has undergone over the past 70 years, exploring the basic laws of the cyclical ecological reconstruction of the Chinese architectural community.Based on this research,it discusses the mutual mission of the community when contemporary architectural criticism confronts new crises and reconstructs a new ecology.
