摘要
以美籍华裔建筑师陈宣远设计的西安建国饭店为研究对象,结合史料、调研、访谈、图纸精读、图解分析等方法,较为系统地探寻这座简约朴实、尺度宜人的建筑背后所蕴含的设计观念、策略及方法,借此为"国际饭店"这类特殊建筑类型在中国社会历史变迁与现代转型下的建筑学探讨提供样本,也为中国现当代建筑设计研究提供个体参照.
Abstract
This study takes Xi'an Jianguo Hotel designed by Chinese-American architect Chen Xuanyuan as the research object.Combining historical materials,surveys,interviews,intensive reading of drawings,graphic analysis and other methods,this study systematically explores design concept,strategy and method behind this simple,plain and pleasantly scaled building.This study provides an example for architectural discussions on special building types such as"international hotels"under China's social changes and modern transformation,and also provides an individual reference for China's modern and contemporary architectural design research.
