The globalization of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)culture has become an indispensable part of the strategy of Chinese culture going global.For TCM culture going out of the country,the terminology should go first.Based on Adaption and Selection Theory of Eco-translatology,this paper discusses the English translation of TCM terminology from three dimensions of language,culture and communication,as well as the translator's selective adaptation and adaptive selection in the process of translation,in order to enrich the translation research of TCM terminology,promote the dissemination of TCM culture and promote the exchange and mutual learning between China and the West.
