Application of BOPPPS Module Combined Flipped Classroom in Teaching Surgery to International Students Majoring in Clinical Medicine——Taking the Unit of Fracture Healing as an Example
Objective To study the effect of BOPPPS module combined flipped classroom teaching in surgical teaching for international students in China.Methods In this study,90 overseas students majoring in clinical medicine from Jinzhou Medical University were selected as the research objects,including 45 in the experimental group and 45 in the control group.The experimental group adopts the BOPPPS module combined flipped classroom teaching method,while the control group adopted the traditional teaching method.After class,the teaching effect is comprehensively evaluated through theory examination and questionnaire survey.Results The final examination score of the experimental group(93.18±5.42)was significantly higher than that of the control group(87.82±7.95),and the students in the experimental group were better than that of the control group in the improvement of problem-solving ability,understanding ability and communication and expression ability.Conclusion The BOPPPS module combined with flipped classroom teaching method can improve the surgical teaching effect of clinical medicine majors for international students studying in China,which is worth further promotion in clinical teaching practice.
