Electronic medical records are an important achievement of China's medical informationization construction.Compared with handwritten medical records,they have obvious advantages in work efficiency,service quality,data sharing,and other aspects.While responding to and addressing the increasingly diverse demands for medical services,electronic medical records also face lag and potential risks.On the basis of a detailed analysis of legal risks such as privacy leakage,non-standard writing,and inadequate management in the operation of electronic medical records,the author proposes measures for prevention,in-process supervision,and post punishment to prevent and control legal risks and maximize benefits and avoid harm.
