With the rapid development of the construction industry,environmental pollution problems emerge and seriously threaten people's health.Therefore,in order to protect the urban ecological environment and reduce the environmental pollution caused by the construction of the project,the concept of low-carbon environmental protection should be reasonably integrated into the architectural design work.This paper first expounds the contents,requirements and principles of low-carbon building design,then analyzes the shortcomings of architectural design under the low-carbon concept,and finally puts forward the application countermeasures of low-carbon concept in architectural design,including the reasonable selection of energy-saving and environmentally protective materials,the attention on the design of surrounding environment of buildings,and the improvement of building greening design,so as to bring some inspiration to relevant personnel.
