This paper briefly analyzes the important role of project cost in feasibility investigation,planning and design,bidding and signing the contract in the early stage of engineering construction projects;in the mid-stage of construction implementation stage;and in the later stage of project acceptance,completion settlement and final account of the project.Through an in-depth understanding of the important role of project cost in the implementation of engineering construction projects,it is helpful to clarify the sequence and various laws and characteristics between them and is very beneficial to doing a good job in cost work in the future.
