In the current municipal road and bridge project,due to the occurrence of pavement structure,pavement compaction,foundation problems and warning signs,it is likely to cause the overall collapse of the subgrade and pavement.Prior to the formal construction,if the detailed field investigation is not carried out,it is likely to carry out unscientific treatment because of the ignorance of the soil condition at the site,finally leading to the serious settlement of the subgrade and pavement.This paper analyzes the hazards and causes of settlement in municipal road and bridge project,and investigates the application and optimization measures of subgrade and pavement construction technology in the settlement section,for reference.
