Application and Improvement of Hydraulic Structure in Flood Defense and Emergency Rescue
The application and improvement of hydraulic structures in flood defense and emergency rescue is a key and complex field.This paper analyzes the basic types of hydraulic structure,applications,existing problems,case analysis and improvement methods,and comprehensively discusses the role of hydraulic structures in campaign to combat flood disasters.In successful cases such as China's South-to-North Water Diversion Project central route,the effectiveness of hydraulic structures in practical project is demonstrated,while Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans highlights design flaws and inadequate maintenance.In order to solve these problems,the introduction of advanced technology,regular maintenance and overhaul,as well as the construction of a multi-level flood defense system have been proposed as ways to improve hydraulic structures.
