After the society enters the aging era,many elderly people choose to receive home-based elderly care at the existing residential conditions.Based on the existing problems of home-based elderly care in the existing residential space,this paper analyzes several inconveniences arising from the existing residence to the life of the elderly,and takes this issue as the starting point to propose the principles,strategies and design points of interior design for home-based elderly care in the existing residence,so as to scientifically design the home-based elderly care living space for the elderly with different needs.Through the elderly-oriented renovation of the existing residential space,it will promote the continuous improvement of the home-based elderly care model and realize the combination of health care.
