Thoughts on Design of Municipal Buildings Based on Regional Characteristics——Example of Design of a Water Plant in Puning City
Regional building is rooted in the specific regional culture,history,geography and social environment,and reflects the uniqueness and characteristics of its location in terms of form,style,material and function.With the development of the times and the change of social needs,municipal industrial building has changed from a simple and practical style that only needs to meet specific functional needs to a style that considers the integration of different regional cultural characteristics.This paper analyzes and summarizes the design ideas of a water plant in Puning City,expounds the thoughts on the design of municipal buildings based on regional characteristics.The research in this paper is expected to provide reference for relevant designers in municipal building design.
