Brief Analysis on Renovation Method of Traffic Congestion Point in Old Town
To address the phenomena such as traffic flow blockage in the intersection,disorderly and mixed flow of motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles,and long queue delay in old town during the morning and evening rush hours,this paper investigates the organizational form of traffic flow in the intersection and the operation characteristics of traffic flow in each direction,explores the formation mechanism of traffic congestion points,proposes a reasonable renovation project design scheme,and puts forward feasible improvement methods and suggestions from the aspects of road network planning,intersection plane design,traffic management and control based on the traffic capacity of road section and the operation efficiency in the intersection,aiming to provide reference for the design and construction of traffic congestion renovation projects.
