Exploration of SBS Modified Asphalt Concrete Technology for Highway Pavement Projects
Highway pavement project is a vital part of modern transportation infrastructure construction,and the selection of pavement materials and the application of construction technology are directly related to the safety,comfort and durability of highways.Traditional asphalt pavement has problems such as cracks,deformation and wears in complex environments such as high temperature,low temperature and heavy load,and it is necessary to seek a new technology that can improve the performance of pavement.SBS modified asphalt concrete technology emerges as an advanced pavement material,the addition of styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer(SBS)copolymer modifier into asphalt can significantly improve the elastic modulus,crack resistance and durability of asphalt pavement.This paper will explore the key points and application measures of SBS modified asphalt concrete construction technology in highway pavement projects.
