Under the guidance of constant improvement and life art design ideas,the painted decoration of Chaoshan traditional building shows its brilliant achievements,and occupies an important position and unique function in the building decoration.Its protection is not only the cherishing of historical and cultural heritage,but also the maintenance and guarantee of Chaoshan traditional building.This paper expounds the dilemma faced by the development of traditional painting technology,analyzes the reasons restricting the development of painting technology,proposes measures for the protection of painting art,as well as the feasibility and new direction of the painting art development,and better preserves and propagates the precious traditional folk crafts.
