Prefabricated house is a new form of building with energy-saving,highly efficient and environmental protection characteristics,and is an important force for promoting the sustainable development of construction industry at present.The purpose of this paper is to discuss the advancement and economy of prefabricated residential building design under the concept of sustainable development.This paper discusses the design content of prefabricated residential buildings under the concept of sustainable development,and analyzes and compares the economic value with traditional brick-concrete residential buildings in the complete cycle of construction,use and disposal of residential buildings,so as to reveal the economic advantages of prefabricated residential buildings and discuss their application prospects in the context of sustainable development.
