With the acceleration of urbanization process,municipal road and bridge engineering is an important part of urban infrastructure,its construction quality and efficiency are crucial for the development of cities and the lives of residents.As an advanced construction technology,prestressed construction technology has a wide range of application prospects in municipal road and bridge construction.This paper aims to explore the application of prestressed construction technology in municipal road and bridge construction,analyze its advantages and challenges,and propose corresponding countermeasures.Through the research,it is concluded that prestressed construction technology has significant effects in improving the structural performance,construction efficiency and economic benefits of municipal road and bridge engineering.
