With the rapid urban development,urban design in key areas at the level of regulatory plan is a cynosure.This paper studies its scope and content,covering the scope determination based on geographic space and functional attributes,land use planning,and public space design.The implementation strategy and management measures are expounded,and the importance of reasonably determining the design scope and content for urban construction is emphasized.Future development trends are also prospected,including functional blending,ecological priority,technology assistance and public participation.
