With the continuous improvement of modern scientific and technological level in China,BIM technology has been widely used in all walks of life.The use of BIM technology in mechanical and electrical engineering can promote the design optimization in the whole process,improve the quality and efficiency of construction,and reduce construction costs.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the scientific application of BIM technology,integrate with the construction quality control needs of building mechanical and electrical installation projects,and build an integrated management plan,so as to fully ensure the scientific use of BIM technology.This paper deeply discusses the application of BIM technology in building mechanical and electrical installation projects,and provides an effective reference for construction practitioners.
