Four new species of Hilara(Diptera:Empididae)from Jiangxi,China
The genus Hilara Meigen,1822 with about 405 known species is one of the genera with the greatest species richness in Empididae.This is the first report of Hilara from Jiangxi with four species described as new to science:Hilara densisetosa sp.nov.,Hilara latidentata sp.nov.,Hilara sparsisetosa sp.nov.,and Hilara tenuidentata sp.nov.A key to separate these species in the genus Hilara is presented.
