Large Unit Teaching Design from the Perspective of Learning Center
The essence of large unit as learning unit means that the focus of large unit teaching is not on teaching content but on organizing and guiding learning.It also means that its teaching design must be learning-centered.From the perspective of learning center,large unit teaching design sets its task,generates its content and arranges its time by following the philosophy of teaching based on learning,forming content based on learning and setting time according to learning.Its internal logic is generating large unit with big idea as the core,driving large unit with big task as starting point,and spreading large unit with big activity as process.Large unit teaching should extract big idea from comparing competency goal and realistic material,construct big task by considering theoretical and experience learning,and design big activity by considering the target feature of competency and typical feature of discipline.Its process can spread through the mode of progressive learning,paralleled learning and iterative learning.
