Monitoring the Use of Basic Education Textbook in the United States:Implementation Background,Main Findings and Enlightenment to China
Textbook use is the key to realizing textbook value and the core link of textbook construction and management.In recent years,basic education reform in the United States has focused on textbook use and conducted a national survey of textbook resources(AIRS 2019-2022).Through the monitoring of framework construction,sample selection,information collection and evaluation analysis of the survey,the article presents its findings from the aspects of overall result,trend change,regional characteristic,group difference and subject characteristic.From a comparative perspective,the survey provides enlightenment for the monitoring of the use of basic education textbook in China:clarifying the key utility of monitoring in textbook construction cycle,improving the normalized tracking,feedback and improvement mechanism of textbook use monitoring,enhancing teachers'competence and the leadership of principals in textbook use,and using the monitoring of textbook use to empower high-quality linkage of textbook-curriculum-student.
