Research on Stability of Fabricated Steel Pipe Support Structure based on Second-order P-Δ Elastic Analysis Method
This paper is based on the second-order P-Δ elastic analysis method in the Standard for design of steel structures to study the stability calculation method of fabricated steel pipe support structures,and to compare and study the influences of factors such as support span and cross brace form on the stress of the overall steel pipe support.It more accurately reflects the upper limit of axial pressure that steel pipe supports can bear and provide reference for the design and application of steel pipe support in foundation pits.At the same time,Abaqus software is used to study the mechanical properties of steel pipe supports with flexible joints.The influence of flexible joints on the overall bearing performance of steel pipe sup-ports is compared,and it is found that flexible joints would cause out of plane instability.It is recommen-ded to strengthen and improve the stiffness of flexible joints out of plane to avoid potential safety hazards and enhance the stability of fabricated steel pipe support structures.
