班康姆铜金矿位于琅勃拉邦—黎府铜金多金属成矿带南段,属于火山岛弧环境,成矿受含矿侵入岩-蚀变次火山岩-断裂构造联合控制。矿体呈 NNE 向展布,倾向 NW ― NNW,条带状分支复合产出,走向上大致呈等距性的赋存富矿段。主矿体主要赋存于安山岩的断裂带中,少量赋存于闪长玢岩、安山岩与碳酸盐岩的接触带部位,倾向上存在“上金-中铜金-下铜”的分带特点。矿床成矿规律典型,找矿前景较好。
Lying in the southern section of Luang Prabang – Loei Cu-Au polymetallic metallogenic belt,Pan-gkuam Cu-Au deposit occurs in the volcanic island arc environment and its mineralization is jointly controlled by ore-bearing intrusive rocks,altered subvolcanic rocks and fracture structure.The orebodies are distribu-ted along the NNE-trending strike and are dipping towards NW-NNW direction.The orebodies occur as ban-ding or branching in form,and the ore-enriched sections are generally distributed with equal intervals along the strike.The major orebodies occur predominantly in the fracture belt of andesite and subordinately in the contact zone of dioriticporphyrite,andesite and carbonatite.The orebodies are characterized by “gold on top, copper and gold in the middle,and copper at bottom”in terms of trend.The deposit has typical metallogenic regularity and favorable prospecting potential.
