Based on the 1∶10000 soil geochemical survey of Rongxuka raremetal mining area in Daofu Coun-ty,Sichuan Province,8861 soil samples are collected,and the content of 16 elements is analyzed.The geo-chemical parameter statistics,correlation analysis,cluster analysis and factor analysis are carried out to stud-y the geochemical distribution characteristics of elements,the geochemical anomaly characteristics of single element and combination elements.The result shows that the enrichment regularity of rare metal elements in the mining area is obvious,and two groups of Li-Be-Cs-Sn and Nb-Ta anomaly appear,and the anomaly o-verlap is well.Li-Be-Cs-Sn anomaly is mainly distributed in the central,northeast and west parts of the min-ing area,and Nb-Ta anomaly is mainly distributed in the north and northeast parts of the mining area,which are consistent with the concentrated distribution of pegmatite veins in the mining area.Combined with the characteristics of strata,structure and magmatic rocks in the mining area,five prospecting target areas of rare metal mineralization are delineated.After geological mapping,trenching and drilling engineering verifi-cation,42 pegmatite dykes with lithium,beryllium,niobium,tantalum and rubidium mineralization are dis-covered,and 12 lithium ore bodies are delineated.It is indicated that soil geochemical survey has a good ap-plication effect in the exploration of Rongxuka rare metal deposit.
