Analysis and interpretation of surface-borehole azimuth IP anomaly under layered medium
In order to better explore for the characteristics of surface-borehole azimuth IP anomaly of under-ground concealed ore bodies under layered medium condition,the article has firstly studied the finite element forward simulation algorithm for three-dimensional induced polarization in the surface-borehole direction sur-vey,and has also developed a program as well.Secondly,a three-dimensional geoelectric model is construc-ted and forward simulation is conducted to discuss the azimuth induced polarization anomaly of the surface-drilling hole under the layered medium background,and to analyze their characteristic regularity.Finally,the ratio method is used to normalize and suppress the layered medium background to highlight the useful a-nomaly.Theoretical result and numerical example indicate that the ratio method normalization processing is an effective method for eliminating the influence of layered medium background anomalies in ground-borehole azimuth induced polarization observation.
