Spatial distribution characteristics of ore bodies and prospecting prediction in the deep and edge area of Daocaowan antimony mining area,Central Hunan
The Daocaowan antimony mining area is located in the north of the tin mines of antimony ore field in central Hunan, which is a newly discovered concealed antimony deposit in recent years.Through drilling and pit exploration engineering control, the scale of antimony resources has reached medium-sized,which is an important breakthrough in the prospecting of old mines in recent years.Through the analysis of the spa-tial distribution characteristics of the ore body and the ore-controlling conditions, the prospecting target area is predicted. The research shows that the ore bodies of each deposit in the tin mines of ore field are produced from a specific horizon, with the characteristics of directivity, grouping and equidistant. The layered and stratoid orebodies occur in the silicified limestone and interlayer fracture zone of the Upper Devonian Shetian-qiao Formation(D3s2).The ore body is obviously controlled by the structure, and the Daocaowan anticline provides the detachment space for the enrichment of the ore body. The favorable lithology combination of ore body is Shetianqiao Formation(D3s2)limestone+Shetianqiao Formation(D3s3)calcareous shale(total shielding layer).
