Geological characteristics and prospecting marks of Liuping phosphate deposit in Susong County,Anhui
Liuping phosphate deposit is one of the typical phosphate deposits in Susong area,and its resource reserve scale is medium.Phosphate orebody is hosted in Liupingite Formation of Susong Rock Group,which is divided into four layers upper and lower.The phosphate deposit is sedimentary metamorphic phosphate de-posit of"Haizhou type",limited by ore-controlling conditions in rock strata and secondary folds.There are typical prospecting marker characteristics such as stratum,lithological assemblage,phosphorus and manga-nese symbiosis,geochemical anomaly.The deep extension of some ore sections is stable and not fully con-trolled in the mining area,indicating that there is still a great prospecting potential in the deep area.
