The relationship between alteration mineral characteristics and gold mineralization in Dadiangou gold deposit,Gansu
Dadiangou gold deposit is located in West Qinling metallogenic belt.The ore body types are quartz vein type and structural fracture zone alteration rock type.Through near infrared spectrometer testing of rock samples,the types of wall rock alteration,the content and characteristics of altered minerals in Dadi-angou gold deposit are determined.The relationship between wall rock alteration and gold mineralization is discussed.The results indicate the main alteration types of Dadiangou gold deposit are sericitization,chloriti-zation,pyritization,silicification and carbonation.Muscovite,lepidolite,illite,chlorite and other minerals are positively correlated with gold mineralization.The content of altered minerals corresponds to the spatial location and scale of the exposed ore bodies in the area.It can be used as the good prospecting indicator infor-mation in the later stage.
