Screening and potential analysis of the target area of the Yue'e tin-copper polymetallic deposit in Xiengkhouang,Laos
The Yue'e copper-tin polymetallic deposit in Xiengkhouang,Laos is located in the western part of the Xiengkhouang-Vietnam Changshan regional tectonic belt of the important iron, copper and gold poly-metallic metallogenic belt in Southeast Asia. The deposit is covered by thick vegetation and Quaternary, and its the degree of research is low.By analyzing the data of the mining area, the 1∶25,000 ditch system sec-ondary halo measurement was carried out,the target area was screened, and the prospecting potential was e-valuated.The results show that the skarn type copper polymetallic deposit and the tectonic hydrothermal al-tered tin polymetallic deposit are the prospecting prospects for the two different types of deposits in the min-ing area. The mineralization is closely related to magmatic rocks, and the NE-trending fault is an important ore-controlling and ore-bearing structure in this area. The shallow prospecting should be carried out around the NE-trending faults. The deep part may be the contact alteration area between the surrounding rock and the rock mass, which is the main prospecting direction.By carrying out 1∶25,000 ditch system secondary halo measurement,4 prospecting target areas and 10 prospecting prospect areas were selected.Combined with anomaly and engineering verification,1 medium-sized tin polymetallic deposit and 1 small and rich skarn copper ore body were found.
