Research on the extraction technology of quartz sand ore in one area of Beihai,Guangxi
This paper aims to provide ore beneficiation process and technical parameters for the feasibility study of development and utilization of Beihai quartz sand deposit.It also explores for the rational and feasi-ble quality and economic indicator of quartz sand product in the glass industry.It has employed analytical techniques including Leica polarizing microscopy,petrographic microscopy,and X-ray powder diffraction to elucidate mineral occurrence and ore properity.Through the comprehensive study of the original ore samples of quartz sand,screening samples of various particle sizes,and experimental products,the research has ob-tained the separation indicators of quartz sand products that meet the requirements for the glass industry.
