Geochemical characteristics and influencing factor of soil selenium in Cangwu County of Guangxi
The 1∶50000 surface soil geochemical survey, rock profile survey and crop survey are systematical-ly carried out in Cangwu County,Guangxi, the content characteristics and its influencing factor of selenium in surface soil have been studied. The research result shows that the average content of Se in the surface soil is 0.60 mg/kg in Cangwu County. The area rank high selenium levels is 867.87 km2,accounting for 81.24%of the study area.Among different soil types, the content of Se in the red soil is the highest, with an average of 0.64 mg/kg.The content of Se in the flooded paddy soil is the lowest, with an average of 0.44 mg/kg.In different strata, the content of Se in Cambrian Xiaoneichong Formation and Huangdongkou Formation clastic rocks is the highest. In different land use situation, the content of Se in the garden and forest is the highest. In different pH environment, the content of Se in the strongly acidic environments is the highest. The en-richment and distribution of soil selenium content are influenced by different strata, parent materials, and soil properties and components. The geochemical grade of soil environment in Cangwu County is mainly first-class and second-class,and the selenium rich rates of rice, corn, and tea planted are all greater than 70%,indicating the potential to develop selenium rich land and selenium rich agricultural products.
