Types and metallogenic tectonic model of the DongXiaoquan gold deposit in Beishan,Gansu
The Dongxiaoquan gold deposit located in the Beishan area of Gansu,is an important metal deposit enrichment area in Northwest China.It is a newly discovered gold-bearing quartz vein type and fracture zone altered rock type combination deposit in recent years.By analyzing the geological characteristics of the depos-it,the period of ore-controlling structure,the spatial relationship between gold ore body and structure,the metallogenic tectonic model of this area is summarized.The results show that the quartz vein type deposits and altered granite type deposits in this area are strictly controlled by faults and their secondary faults.The mineralization period of Xiaoquan gold deposit is divided into two periods,one is closely related to the forma-tion of F1 fault,and the other is closely related to the NE-SW trending fault.The scale of altered rock type gold deposit in the Dongxiaoquan gold deposit is larger than that of quartz vein type,and the exploration of fault intersection in different directions should be strengthened.
