Geological characteristics and prospecting model of the Baidungou gold deposit,Eastern Kunlun
The Baidungou gold deposit is located in the middle part of the East Kunlun metallogenic belt.In recent years, many gold deposits have been found in the deposit, indicating a good prospect of ore search.According to the investigation and analysis, the deposit is strictly controlled by the north-northwest fault structure, and its ore-bearing strata are the Neoproterozoic Qiujidonggou Formation and the Great Wall Xi-aomiao Formation. The ore metal minerals in the deposit are natural gold, rich in gold and silver cinnabar, spiral silver sulfide, pyrite, arsenopyrite, pyrrhotite, etc. There are wall rock alterations closely related to pyritization, silicification and sericitization. The Late Triassic intermediate-acid intrusive rocks provide heat source for the formation of gold deposits. The deposit benefits from the adsorption barrier effect and reduc-tion barrier effect provided by carbonaceous and pyrite strata, which is the result of the coupling of brittle-ductile shear zone, magmatic hydrothermal fluid and special stratigraphic lithology.
