This article introduces the current development status of chain operation and management majors in Chinese voca-tional colleges,as well as the overview of chain professional skills competitions in recent years.By studying the feasibility of the"Promoting Learning through Competition"education and teaching mode reform in chain operation and management major,specific reform plans are proposed.
