Festival tourism,as the important component of the tourism industry,is of the great significance in promoting the high-quality development of China's tourism industry in the new era.In recent years,a large number of festival tourism activ-ities have emerged across the country,and their current development status is characterized by continuous government sup-port,strong supply and demand in the festival tourism market,festival tourism activities sinking into counties and villages,lively"cloud festivals",and multi-party cooperation and joint organization.However,these festival tourism activities also have many problems,such as short lifecycle,lack of innovation in content,and low degree of marketization.In order to promote the high-quality development of festival tourism in China,we should broaden the market,do a good job in public participation,comply with market rules,make good use of government functions and use festival activities to tell the story of China.
