Tomb No.1 at Maozhensi is a pit tomb with wooden burial chamber,yielding objects made of pottery,bronze,iron,as well as a large quantity of lacquered wooden objects.Based on inscriptions on the bronze ge halberd,along with pottery typology,bronze coins,and its form,the tomb has been dated to the final Warring States period through the Qin Dynasty,serving as a chronological reference for contemporary tombs.The inscribed bronze ge halberd is of great significance for studying temple artisans in the Qin state,as well as Qin's control and management of the Shu region.Additionally,the discovery of shoes made from woven palm fiber provides the most direct material evidence for understanding straw shoe design and weaving techniques during the Warring States,Qin and Han periods.
