Using new materials unearthed from the Honghe site as a reference, systematic analysis was conducted on archaeological data attributed to the Ang'angxi culture, further clarifying its characteristics.Based on both typological evidence and radiocarbon dating, the Ang'angxi culture has been dated to approximately 2500-2000 BC.The Ang'angxi culture partially inherited elements from the Haminmangha culture, while also incorporating influence from contemporaneous contexts such as the Nanbaoligaotu type,Xiaoheyan culture and Xiaozhushan PhaseⅣ remains, ultimately transforming into the Xiaolaha culture of the early Bronze Age.Judging from warfare-related remains and a bone mace head,an indicator of power, the Ang'angxi culture had already entered a civilized era.
