By adopting"high Ti+Mo"alloy composition design,optimizing heating and TMCP rolling process,slow cooling and efficient tempering after rolling,stable production of 4～12 mm light gauge quenching and tempering free high strength steel plate is realized.The results show that the surface quality of the test steel plate is good,and the unflatness is less than 1 mm/2 m.The microstructure of the as-rolled test steel is ferrite and bainite,and the micro-structure after tempering is almost all ferrite and granular carbide,the yield strength is 776 MPa,the tensile strength is 822 MPa,and the elongation after fracture is 20.9％.The test steel plate successfully passes the welding evaluation cer-tification of CSIC No.725 Research Institute,and the welding performance of the welding joint is good.
