摘要
本文旨在评估的免费计算机辅助翻译工具OmegaT的各项特性,将其与两种付费软件Déjà Vu X和Trados进行对比.本文主要从术语管理、翻译记忆工具的功能、翻译项目管理、译文质量和可行性等方面进行评估.
Abstract
This essay aims to evaluate different features of OmegaT with comparison to Déjà Vu X-a CAT tool rated highest in the user's evaluations and satisfactory with reasonable price and Trados-most widely used CAT tool with great functionalities.Factors such as terminology management,TM tool functions,project management,quality assurance and feasibility will be considered in the evaluation.Also recommendations will be given to the freelance translators about whether they should use a free tool like OmegaT or buy a commercial tool that has more functionalities.
