高管环保背景对企业绿色创新的影响研究——基于上市企业的实证分析

在可持续发展的背景下,企业绿色创新引起学术界重点关注,但是过往研究缺乏企业高管的环保背景对企业绿色创新的探索.为了研究高管环保背景对企业绿色创新是否产生影响,本研究基于A股上市企业2011~2021年公司数据,采用文本分析方法构建高管环保背景指数,构建双向固定效应模型.研究发现,企业高管环保背景会对企业绿色创新产生积极影响,具有环保背景企业高管数量越多企业绿色创新程度越高.并且发现,高管环保背景对企业绿色创新的影响只会在非国有企业、非重污染行业企业产生作用.同时,本研究丰富了高层梯队理论和烙印理论,为实现可持续发展提供了实践指导意义.
Research on the Impact of Executive Environmental Background on Corporate Green Innovation——Based on Empirical Analysis of A-Share Listed Enterprises
In the context of sustainable development,corporate green innovation has attracted the attention of the academic circle,but the past research lacks the exploration of corporate green innovation with the environmental protection background of corporate executives.In order to explore whether the environmental protection background of executives has an impact on the green innovation of enterprises,this study was based on the data of A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2021.Employing a text analysis approach,this study constructed an index for executive environmental background and established a two-way fixed effects model.The study revealed that executive environmental background positively impacts corporate green innovation,with a higher number of executives with environmental backgrounds associated with a greater degree of green innovation.Moreover,the influence of executive environmental background on corporate green innovation was found to be effective only in non-state-owned enterprises and non-heavy-polluting industries.This study contributes to the theories of executive hierarchy and imprinting theory,providing practical guidance for achieving sustainable development.
