Building a data element market and promoting the development and release of data value are inevitable requirements for promoting the high-quality integrated development of the real economy and the digital economy.In order to explore the current status of data element market research in China and accurately grasp the hot direction and frontier dynamics,this paper uses the information visualization analysis software CiteSpace to conduct visual econometric analysis and multi-dimensional literature content analysis of 203 relevant literature published in the CNKI database from 2012 to 2022.The research results show that since 2020,the research on data element market has increased dramatically,and the research hotspots mainly focus on the definition of data element property rights,the intrinsic relationship between the digital economy and the cultivation of data element market,the security guarantee of data utilization,the construction of data pricing mechanism,market-oriented allocation,and the development and utilization of data value.In the future,the fields of market-oriented allocation of data elements,data security utilization guarantee,data classification and hierarchical governance,development and application of new data technologies,and innovative data exchanges will be the research hotspots.
