New quality productive forces are a significant strategic measure for achieving modernization with Chinese characteristics,and regions serve as the spatial carriers for the development of these forces.Regions should develop new quality productive forces based on their unique geographical conditions and industrial advantages,adapting their approaches to local circumstances.This paper takes Shaanxi as an example,summarizes the conditions and principles for cultivating and developing new quality productive forces in the region,and combines the development results and existing problems of Shaanxi's efforts in this area,actively explores paths to cultivate and develop new quality productive forces with Shaanxi characteristics led by scientific and technological(S&T)innovation.The paper proposes to further unleash the advantages of S&T innovation,to open up a new track for industrial development,and to establish a new type of production relationship that is compatible with the cultivation of new quality productive forces.
