With the large-scale application of phased array systems in the telecommunication region,suppliers are required to provide equipment that can work stably and continuously.The phased array channel amplitude-phase characteristics will be changed over time,eventually leading to a degradation of beam performance.To simplifying the ways of maintenance and reducing maintenance time and cost,it is necessary to measure the amplitude-phase characteristics of phased array channels during the maintenance period.This measurement must be done independently by the phased array system and should not be dependent on the external environment.The traditional measurement method is to measure each channel one by one,this method is inefficient.The measurement time for large-scale phased array is generally tens of minutes,which will interrupt the communication service for a long time.This method is not conducive to the needs of rapid system maintenance.At present,fast measurement method for phased array channel amplitude-phase is concentrated on reducing the production cycle of phased array and mainly worked with a specific test environment.This is not suitable for phased array maintenance.A fast measurement method for phased array channels is proposed in this paper by combining multicarriers and system synchronization.With the same measurement accuracy,the measurement time consumed by this method is about 2 orders of magnitude less than that of traditional serial measurement methods,and the measurement time is also greatly reduced compared with the existing fast measurement methods.The effectiveness of the method is verified by simulation,and the relationship between measurement accuracy and time cost is given at last.Under the same measurement accuracy,the measurement time is compared with the traditional serial measurement method and the existing fast measurement method.
