Research on the Coupling and Coordination of the Digital Economy and the High-quality Development of Manufacturing Industry:A Case Study of the Yangtze River Economic Belt
The digital economy provides new impetus for the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,which,in turn,will promote the innovative development of the digital economy.This paper constructs an evaluation index system for the high-quality development of the digital economy and man-ufacturing industry.Then it examines the coupling coordination relationship between the digital econo-my and the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2011 to 2020 with a coupling coordination model.Based on the existence of spatial effects,it also reveals the relevant factors affecting the coupling coordination degree with the Spatial Durbin Model.The results show that those provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt are growing in cou-pling coordination with certain differences among them;there is also a significant spatial effect in cou-pling coordination degree among them;and the talent resources and infrastructure construction of an area can improve its coupling coordination degree,while government intervention can boost its coupling coordination degree and that of adjacent areas as well.
