The Impact of Opening of High-speed Railway on the Connectivity of China's Air Passenger Transport Network
In order to scientifically optimize the development of China's air passenger transport network, the unbalanced panel data of the pre-fecture-level and above cities of China's regularly operated transport airports from 2000 to 2018 are selected, and the opening of high-speed rail is regarded as a quasi-natural experiment. The multi-period differential model is used to empirically analyze the impact of high-speed rail opening on China's air passenger transport network connectivity. The results show that the opening of high-speed rail significantly improves the connec-tivity level of China's air passenger transport network. The opening of high-speed rail has a significant promoting effect on the node centrality regardless of the region of the city, and the promoting effect on the centrality of the eastern city is greater than that of the central and western cities.
