The Impact of Leadership Member Exchange on Service Innovation Behavior of Hotel Employees:Using Organizational Trust as a Mediating Variable
Innovation is the primary driving force of development,and the innovative behavior of employees is the key to sustainable development and enhancing competitiveness of enterprises.Based on the theory of social exchange,a structural equation model was constructed based on 286 hotel employee questionnaires to empirically explore the impact and mechanism of leader member exchange on hotel employee service innovation behavior.The results indicate that leadership member exchange and organizational trust have a significant positive impact on the service innovation behavior of hotel employees.Organizational trust plays a mediating role between leader member exchange and employee service innovation behavior.The research is able to enrich the research results on the relationship between superiors and subordinates and employee service innovation behavior,which has certain practical significance for improving management practices in the hotel industry.
