Study on the Removal Effect of Precipitation Process on Atmospheric Particulate Matter:Taking Yuci District,Jinzhong City of Shanxi Province as an Example
To clarify the removal effect of atmospheric particulate matter by precipitation in Yuci District, based on the concentration data of atmospheric particulate matter(PM2.5,PM10)and meteorological observations from January 2021 to December 2022,statistical analysis and correlation analysis were used to study the removal effect of precipitation on PM2.5 and PM10from four indicators total precipitation amount, precipitation duration, particulate matter concentration before precipitation, and maximum hourly precipitation. The results show that an increase in total precipitation amount was beneficial to promote the removal effect of PM2.5 and PM10.As the total precipitation amount increased, the average removal rate of PM2.5 and PM10 increased, and the positive removal rate increased.Continuous precipitation can enhance the removal effect of atmospheric particulate matter. When continuous precipitation lasts for 12 hours,it can effectively reduce the concentration of PM2.5 and PM10.There is a good positive correlation between the removal effect of precipitation on particulate matter and the initial concentration of particulate matter. When the particulate matter concentration is high 3 hours before the start of precipitation, the removal effect of precipitation on PM2.5 and PM10 is better. However, negative removal effects may occur when the initial concentration of PM2.5 is ≤35 μg/m3 and the initial concentration of PM10 is ≤50 μg/m3.When the maximum hourly precipitation is>1.5 mm,the precipitation process has a relatively obvious removal effect on atmospheric particulate matter.
