Robot Industry Development and Local Government Attention:An Empirical Analysis Based on Simultaneous Equation Model
Based on the mechanism analysis of the influence of robots,regional competition and government attention on regional economic development,the interaction between robot industry development and local government attention was tested,using the simultaneous equation model and panel data of 272 cities from 2011 to 2021.The analysis shows that the development of the regional robot industry can significantly attract the attention of local governments,and its attractiveness has a dilution effect of economic scale.The analysis also shows that the attention of local governments to the robot industry can promote the agglomeration of related industries.However,while incorporating urban heterogeneity into the model,the influence and significance of the aggregation decrease significantly.
